Two weeks isn't a long time in the grand scheme of life. The average person lives for four thousand weeks. Two isn't a lot compared to four thousand. I have lived over a thousand weeks before I even met Allison. I can survive two.

All these numbers rattling around in my head are directly from Malcom, annoyed with my bitching. At first, I was frustrated that Malcom so rudely pointed out I was being a baby. Mainly because he missed her just as much. He was just less vocal about it.

I didn't get much done on my album the first week Allison was gone. I often pestered Malcom and Callum until Callum suggested I use her gone as inspiration. I didn't know how considering Allison was my muse.

It finally clicked one day as I played around with notes on the guitar and the melody was sad and lonely. I used missing Allison as inspiration to write some slower, sad songs. Now, my album is more well-rounded, not just consisting of happy love songs.

As far as love went, I know I am in love with Allison. Malcom and Callum are still in denial. When she sent those three hearts, I knew she meant she loved us. The guys may insist it isn't a big deal, that it is a friendly kind of love, but I know what she meant. The problem is it wasn't one heart. It was three. She still didn't prefer one of us to the others, and soon, we are going to have to face that reality.

We are missing Allison, and she is missing us, but her work is going great. She works long hours but always has an enormous smile when she talks about working with the two artists. Allison calls each of us individually or all three at once every day when she is done with work.

The time difference means she is having dinner in Italy while we are having lunch in New York. Sometimes, she calls right after work, still having paint on her face or hair, but she says she loves the work. Malcom heard from Sheila that the artists are happy with Allison and may want her back for more projects.

I am happy for Allison but I don't like the idea of her being gone. Maybe she can take me with her next time. I can write music from almost anywhere, and Italy seems like an excellent place to be inspired. That is, of course, if she chooses me. If she decides she wants Malcom or Callum, they won't like me tagging along. My feelings for Allison are not going away, so if I am alone with Allison in one of the most romantic countries in the world, things can happen.

It feels like forever, but eventually, two weeks is up and Allison is flying home today. Her flight out is late, so we won't see her until almost Saturday.
